The cover of this book which made me pick it, actually misleads us that it’s a story of a carefree girl or might be a romance-filled novel but in reality, it’s something more, actual suspense I would say. This book is full of characters and will take you to the lives of 4 different women but all connected in some way. The author will make you step in the shoes of the characters and make you feel that everything is happening with you. Each chapter starts with a line or two of advice, which I jotted down to be looked upon as life lessons.

Inside story

The novel is set in Ardagh, Ireland and it revolves around the lives of four women- Ingrid Fitzgerald, Natalie Flynn, Charlie Fallon, and Star Bluestone each one of them reveals a secret – changing their past, present, and future-making them question their false life. Life isn’t a catwalk and real women aren’t models. This stands true here, every woman has her problems yet for the outside world she hides it beneath her smiling face. Ingrid’s revelation is about her husband’s dark secret disclosed 2 days after his sudden demise questioning a long trustworthy husband-wife relation. Natalie’s life gets a meaning after knowing about her mother’s truth which was always kept untouched and unseen. Charlie too gets an answer to why her mother doesn’t treat her like her elder sister. Both of these instances depicting a strong mother-daughter relation.

Be kind to other women. It really works- most of the time & even on those days when it doesn’t, it will make you feel better inside.

This novel though takes time to be completed because of its long chapters; it will surely make your heart pounce to jump into the next chapter feeding you with excitement.

"To the enthralling view of life"   A pleasant morning to wake up in the capital city of Rajasthan, encircled by hills and flecked by mesmerizing forts. Most of the building is pink here , no wonder why they call it a pink city. 😉.Pink stands for hospitality and the city will never fail in this. Undoubtedly the architecture, places, art n crafts, forts made me fall in love with this land. Wait wait..I do have a secret reason to go head over heals when I say I miss this place 😍  In midst of the pink quilt and radiant sun casing the city there stood my clan. The same crazy heads ready to mark our friendship tale in the pinky city . The streets do offered us colourful bazaars, mouth watering dishes and memories of walking carefree with no one recognizing any one of us. We explored the magnificent place, been to enormous forts, and encountered many historical stories. The twilight followed by the dark night bestowed rhythm to our exhausted soul.
